We were inspired to create a 2 piece outfit that a tween girl would want to wear. We took a "mother's" suit, turned it upside down, inside out and redesigned it. We went for something a little formal, a little dressy but we didn't want the suit to look too "old lady-ish". We started with a delightful blue cotton bucle fabric that isn't too hot in the summer months. Then we added fringe around the neckline and made the skirt out of tulle. It's definitely not your mother's suit. The jacket has three quarter sleeves so it will fit even as you grow. The skirt has a flounsy feel that is youthful and festive. Both pieces can be mixed and matched with other items in a tween girl's wardrobe.
